Being able to segment your database should be a key element in your email marketing strategy. Take a look at how to create basic segments within your database or read the steps below.

1. Login to your TouchBasePro account and click on send an email campaign.
2. Under add new subscribers, click on the hyperlinked text, segments.
3. Click on the green button, create a new segment.
4. Define the rule for your segment, this will be based on information in your database such as a custom field.
5. Complete your rule by selecting the corresponding drop downfield. For example, create a segment for females by selecting the custom field gender, selecting matches exactly and typing in female.
6. Name your segment and select save and preview.
